Why Would I Need The Aquaflex?

aquaflex vaginal cones for pelvic toningThe Aquaflex is a simple and effective way to strengthen pelvic floor muscles to help restore bladder control, improve general pelvic health and improve sexual response and satisfaction.

The Aquaflex system consists of two vaginal cones and a set of weights. Inserted like a tampon, the Aquaflex cone causes the pelvic floor muscles to automatically contract around it. It is this reflex action that tones the muscles.

What Else Can You Tell Me About The Aquaflex?

This is a simple and effective way to strengthen pelvic floor muscles and to treat urinary incontinence issues.

The Aquaflex is a clinically proven Pelvic Floor Muscle Exercise System consisting of two cones and a set of weights. It has been designed to tone the pelvic floor muscles safely and painlessly.

Women who accidentally leak urine when they laugh, sneeze, cough or exercise are probably suffering from stress incontinence which can be caused by childbirth or just getting older as the pelvic floor muscles weaken. The situation is not irreversible, however. If you exercise the pelvic floor, you will strengthen it and regain that lost control.

aquaflex open boxWithin 12 weeks using this simple and cost-effective device you can overcome your urinary incontinence problems and those embarrassing leaks could disappear!

It's highly important to ensure you are exercising the pelvic floor correctly. The Aquaflex is inserted in the same way as a tampon and the pelvic floor muscles contract around it automatically. This reflex action is what tones the muscles.

Like any weight-bearing exercise, as you get more proficient at it, you will need to work with higher weights and increase the length of time that you are able to hold the cone in place. The aim is to work up to 20 minutes each day.

Ask a Question

Question: Can Aquaflex be used by women who have had a hysterectomy?
Our Answer:

Hello, if you have had a hysterectomy then we would always recommend that you check with your GP first (especially if the operation has been performed recently). The Aquaflex will help strngthen and tone the pelvic floor muscles, and the only known restrictions are not to use the Aquaflex if you ahve a prolapse or are pregnant - assuming that you ahve fully recovered from the hysterectomy then there shold be no problem, but do check first. Many thanks

Question: I know you can't use during pregnancy but can you please tell me why not? Surely that is the best time to be using it as that is the time you need to get your pelvic floor stronger?!
Our Answer:

Hello, it is recommended that during pregnancy you do manual kegel exercises rather than using a machine or device. The main reason for this is that it's important not to put any undue pressure on the womb during your pregnancy, so manual exercises will give a more gentle (if less effective) strengthening effect for the pelvic floor. Your midwife should be able to give you pointers on how to do kegel exercises whilst pregnant.
A pelvic toner is recommended after childbirth, to help repair and improve the pelvic floor muscles following the trauma to the body of giving birth. Many thanks

Question: Can I use Aquaflex all day long? Or just for 20 minutes?
Our Answer:

Hello, the recommended usage is for 20-30 minutes daily - whilst you could use the cones for longer it is not recommended that you use the cones all day long! Many thanks

Question: do you have this product in stock at the moment?
Our Answer:

Hello, the Aquaflex cones are due back into stock week commencing 20th June. Many thanks
